      What We Believe In

      The Scriptures Inspired

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, a revelation from God to men, the infallible rule of faith and conduct, and is superior to conscience and reason, but not contrary to reason. (2 Timothy 3:15-17; 1 Peter 1:23-25; Hebrews 4:12)

      The One True God

We believe that there is one and only one true living God who is self-existent and chosen to reveal Himself as Father, Son and Holy Spirit, the same in essence, though distinct in personality.  We believe that these three are one God having the same nature, attributes and perfection and are worthy of the same homage and obedience. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 43:10-11; Mathew 23:18-19; Luke 3:22; Mark 12:29; John 1:14; Acts 5:3-4; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Revelation 1:4-6) He is the only proper object of worship. (Jeremiah 10:10; Exodus 3:14; Psalms 90:2; Mathew 28:19; Job 11:7; Psalms 19:1-2; Psalms 145:10; Psalms 150:6; Exodus 34:14)

      Man: His Fall And Redemption

Man was created good and upright, for God said, "Let us make man in our image and after our likeness." But man, by voluntary transgression, fell and his only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ, the Son of God. (Gen. 1:26-31; Gen. 3:17; Rom. 5:12-21)

      The Salvation Of Man

The Grace of God, which brings salvation, has appeared to all men, through the preaching of repentance toward God and through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; man is saved by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, and being justified by grace, has become heir of God according to the hope of eternal life (Titus 2:11; 3:5-7; Rom. 10:13-15; Luke 24:47).

The inward evidence to the believer of his salvation is the direct witness of the Spirit (Rom. 8:16).  The outward evidence to all men is a life of holiness (1Thess. 4:7; 2 Tim. 1:9)

      Baptism In Water

The ordinance of baptism by burial with Christ should be observed (as commanded in the Scriptures) by all that have repented of their sins and in their hearts have believed on Christ as their Savior and Lord.  In doing so, they declare to the world that they have died with Christ and that they have also been released to walk with Him in newness of life (Matt. 28:19; Acts 19:47-48; Rom. 6:4).

      The Lord's Supper (Communion)

The Lord's Supper is a memorial of the covenant made with God through the blood of Christ.  It is a continuation of the Passover feast, which God commanded His covenant people to observe.  The Church participates in the Lord's Supper as a body or family, with each covenant fellowship partner in fellowship adding to the blessedness of the experience (Exodus 11, 12; Mark 14:24; Luke 22:19-20; 1 Cor. 10:16; 11:23-26).

      Baptism Of The Holy Spirit

All believers should ardently expect and earnestly seek the Promise of the Father, which is the baptism in the Holy Spirit and fire.  With it comes the infilling of power for life and service, and the bestowment of the gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4-8; 1 Cor. 12:1-31).  This experience is distinct from and subsequent to the experience of the New Birth (Acts 2:38; 10:44-46; 11:14-16; 15:7-9).

      Santification Process

By the power of the Holy Spirit we strive to obey the command, "Be ye holy, for I am holy."  Sanctification is the will of God for all believers, and should be earnestly pursued by walking in obedience to God's Word (Heb. 12:14; 1 Peter 1:15, 16; 1 Thess. 5:23, 24; 1 John 2:6).  It is a continuous and an on-going process in the life of the believer that is obtained through the power of the Holy Spirit.

      The Church

The church is the holy Body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit, with divine appointments for the fulfillment of her great commission.  Each believer, is an integral part of the church being the bride of Christ, and their names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life.

      Ministry

Divinely called and scripturally ordained ministry has been provided by our Lord for a twofold purpose: (1) The evangelization of the world, and (2) The edification of the Body of Christ (Mark 15:15,20; Eph. 4:11-13)

      Divine Healing

Deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement of Christ and is the privilege of all believers (Isa. 53:4,5; Matt. 8:16,17; Mark 16:18; John 5:14).

      The Blessed Hope

The resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in Christ and their translation, together with those who are alive and remain unto the Lord, is imminent and is the blessed hope of the church (1 Thess. 4:16; Rom 6:23; Titus 2:13; 1 Cor. 15:51, 52).

      The Millennial Reign Of Jesus

The revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ from heaven, the salvation of national Israel, and the millennial reign of Christ on the earth are scriptural promises and our hope (2 Thess. 1:7; Rev. 19:11-16; Rom. 11:25; Rev. 20:1-7).

      The Lake Of Fire

The devil and his angels, the beast and the false prophet, and whosoever is not found written in the Lam's Book of Life shall be consigned to everlasting punishment in the lake which burns fire and brimstone, which is the second death (Rev. 19:20; 20:10-15).

The New Heavens And New Earth

We, as promised in the Scriptures, look for a new heavens and a new earth wherein righteousness dwells (2 Peter 3:13; Rev. 12:1)

The Gift Of Tongues And Tongues

The gift of tongues is a spiritual gift given to some believers when they are baptized in the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 12:10; 12:28-30).  The primary use of the gift of tongues is for the edification of the church (Acts 2:2-4; 19:6)  Tongues (prayer language) are given to any believer for personal edification (Acts 14:2, 4a)

      Gifts Of The Spirit

The nine gifts of the Spirit set forth in 1 Corinthians 12 should be and must be operative in the church to enjoy the fullness of God.  These gifts are imparted by the  sovereignty of the Holy Spirit and only work or are operated by this one and the same Spirit (1 Cor. 12:11)

      Deliverance

The need for deliverance is manifested by an inability to be free from bondage: e.g. mental (emotional), physical or spiritual normally associated with demon activity.  It is God's desire to bring deliverance to His people (Job 5:19; Psalm 91:3; 2 Tim. 4:18; Heb. 2:15; 2 Peter 2:9).  We have been granted the authority in the name of Jesus to bring deliverance to others (Mark 16:17; John 14:12; 1 Cor. 12:8-11).  We must understand that our warfare is with the forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12), our weapon is the Word of God, our authority and power is from Jesus Himself (Mark 16:17; Acts 1:8) and that the battlefield is first of all in the spiritual realms (Ephesians 6:10-18; 2 Cor. 1-:3-5; Romans 8:9; Galatians 5:22-23).

      Prayer

Prayer is an integral part in every believer's life.  We believe in the power of personal and corporate intercession offered directly to God (James 5:15; Phil. 4:6)

      Tithes, Offerings, Alms

Both the Old and New Testament Scriptures teach tithing, as God's financial plan for the support of His work.  These are to be practiced continually by all believers and are outward expressions of the unity of the church, the Body of Christ, as it joins together in support of the work of the Lord (Malachi 3:8-10; 1 Cor. 16:2; Gen. 28:22; Matt. 23:23; Deut. 26, 14:28-29, 15:7-11; Numbers 18:8-11; Ezekiel 44; Proverbs 14:21, 29:7; Luke 11:41, 12:33)
